i think JG3 will be able to make the transition to PG. maybe not right away, but I think he can give us minutes there next year.
his handles are good and he's a better passer than most people give him credit for. also i just really think he's underrated.

Definitely a possibility. We need someone to emerge as a point guard next season. I think it will be very interesting to see how JB coaches JG3 next year. JG3 has always been given the green light as a shooter. Joe takes (and makes) 3s from 5 feet beyond the 3 point line. He takes (and makes) highly contested threes. He averages 50+ points per game. He's the most prolific shooter we've ever recruited. So how will JB coach Joe? Will Joe be benched for taking those shots here? I'm expressing some early concern that JG3 may require a much more patient/tolerant approach than JB usually has. I don't think JG3 is the kind of guy you can pull too easily for "bad" shots. JG3 doesn't think anything is a bad shot. If JB yanks him out too much or too quickly, I would not be surprised if that got in Joe's head . I know it's early to be talking about coaching players next season, but Joe is going to need a different approach. Just my two cents.

My only thing with him is the competition he's faced up in the Glenn Falls area. IMHO would have benefited him to go to a prep school like Brewster or top school like that where your game is going to get better.

That said, how do you envision JB coaching a player like JG3? I think JG3's style of play and constant green light is going to be problematic if JB isn't careful.

It's going to be interesting to see who wins the PG job next year. Hopefully Carey makes a 360 turn and surprises us all. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hughes possibly slide back to the 2 with Quincy coming and OB will be back. Going to be a possible logjam in the backcourt next year.

I hope they don't plan on Hughes at the two, or we'll have another guard that doesn't penetrate well.
