Agreed in terms of pressure. But were also not the only team that plays 7 maybe 8 guys. Not easy to maintain that pressure for 30-40mpg. Joe actually did a nice job against it last night too. And once he beat the pressure him and jesse had a really nice two man game going.

In terms of the tournament, every game leading up to Duke is certainly winnable. And if in some alternate universe we we win every one leading up to Duke and we are playing well I would not rule anything out being that it will be a home game.
I still think its a moot point. We have some horrid losses on our resume. The only good win would be the duke one. And even more realistically even if the next 5 games we play are vs bad teams, they're saying the same thing about us. We are just not good enough to win that many games in a row. The defense is what it is, and the O will have its nights like last night but also vs Pitt.
What is a bummer is the handful of conference games we really shoulda won. At wake and Miami. Home vs FSU and arguably UVA. Would probably still be on wrong side of bubble but it would be a conversation.

For the record am I pissed about where the program is at? Absolutely, but on a game by game basis I root for my damn team like there's no tmrw. I did last night and I always will. My only worries are that these wins give the coach a temporary reprieve and extend the losing in the long run.
Last night, as far as that goes, they looked amazing again on offense. Joe has improved his ball handling and passing and Swider is showing what he was brought here to do. I'm looking forward to Tuesday night with hopes they can continue this and secure a huge string of wins. The defense was not great but NC State was just making everything because that's just how the season has gone- teams are getting lockup hitting everything from the perimeter in a lot of games.
