Pizza can’t be as good down there. When I lived in NC as a kid, I remember we found ONE local spot that was solid and NY like. Local pizza places just were not a thing down there, like they are in Upstate NY. Dominos and Little Ceasars were the regular pizza places for people. I think it’s better now in the bigger areas like Charlotte and Raleigh because of the influx of northerners. Matter of fact I’ve been to several restaurants(not just pizza) owned by Buffalo natives and featuring Bills and Sabres stuff down there. But South Carolina? Yeah, I just can’t imagine there’s any good pizza there. So it’s the upstate pizza places that are to blame, I think it’s fair.

It’s amazing how these top ranked college teams know so much less about shutting him down than cstate does. JuSt PlAy OfF hIm N hE cAnT sCoRe. Seton Hall has some massive wins for a 9-5 team.

Brycen Goodine had 40 points last night against Siena. Shot 8-12 from 3.
He’s averaging 14.6 ppg on the season.

Kadary Girard Goodine Guerrier Edwards Symir Braswell Newton Anselem Vs. Judah JJ Bell Taylor McCleod Copeland Cuffe Benny Brown Who wins? Most of the guys on the first team should be playing professionally or working in an office somewhere.

It’s definitely a fluke thing that they all are still playing college b-ball, and would be the primary reason they’d likely beat our current group. In an alternate universe, we trot out a lineup featuring Kadary, a healthy Westry, and Brown and lead the nation in steals per game, with Edwards patrolling the paint and putting up a double double. and yes - I think I’d like Girard as the 2 guard on that team - hide him on the other teams worst player and just spot up for 3’s - no driveway backdowns allowed.

I see lots of talk about Girard being better at Clemson than Cuse.
First, his shooting improved every year at Syracuse. It continuing to improve is not a surprise. That’s what’s supposed to happen. He’s a good shooter and like 23 years old, playing against kids.
Second, he’s only being asked/allowed to do what he’s good at, at Clemson. That is, shoot 3’s, and be a secondary ball handler.
He’s not running point full time, bringing the ball up against a press by himself as if he’s Pearl Washington. He’s not going ISO and doing driveway backdowns leading to contested fade away 15 footers.
Him averaging 15 ppg on 40+% 3 point shooting is the same thing he did here….but that’s all he’s being asked/allowed to do there.
It’s the role he should’ve had here for 4 years. Imagine him in that role with Kadary running point and Buddy at the 3? Or last year - a 3 guard lineup of Kadary, Joe, and Mintz?? We probably make the tourney. But…..2-3 zone!!!!

I’m seeing comparisons of Girard’s PER to Starlings…..
but just for the record, Kadary’s PER of 18.1 is better than Joe’s PER of 15.7. Stay calm Brooky. It is what it is.

Not sure if this is a bot take, but I think Kadary ends up playing more minutes in the league than Judah.
