In all honesty, my interest in sports in general isn’t what it used to be. I’ve experienced far too much loss in the last 4 years to ever prioritize it. I lost an entire year’s income due to Covid. I’ve also lost a few friends myself, including one to suicide. I’ll always be a fan, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t seem right that ANYONE makes millions of dollars playing a game when there are homeless people, hungry people, and people scraping by. Let this sink in… the guy on the field who saved Bills player Hamlin was probably the least paid on the field that night. That’s just wrong. Anyhow, ‘Cuse sports will always have a special place in my heart. It’s given me some wonderful memories, and that National Championship will always make me smile. That said, I’ve always been a bit of a different guy. I’m authentic, and I always say what I think even if it gets me “banned.” I truly hope we have a nice year and make the tournament, but I’ve changed a lot from these last few years. I’d much rather fans start caring as passionately about things that actually matter. Y’all don’t know this but I’m also part Native American. It’s always been our prophecy that White man’s greed, and disconnection from Nature (with fake foods, fake drinks, synthetic drugs, etc) would be their downfall. 2024 is going to be a year for the record books. You think the Covid years were rough… 2024 is going to really wake folks up. Book it. People SHOULD be woken up, but unfortunately many won’t be. There’s too much money, and it’s way too easy for those invested to lie to and brainwash so many of these people. For example, many have already been shamelessly switching their stance from “global warming won’t happen” to “global warming isn’t happening, it’s made up” to “global warming is happening but it’s not caused by human activity”. They’ll buy whatever these greedy entities want them to buy, as long as it’s packaged in a way that appeals to them. Precisely why I don’t watch the news anymore.

But unfortunately, there’s so many other ways besides TV to put bullshit into people’s heads.

It seems like we have a lot of parallels here, the financials in the pros and now college are really bothering me as well, especially when multi billion dollar stadiums are being built in cities where the homeless population need serious help. Something about Judah this off season relaxing in a super car on South Beach really bothered me, not that it was him, but just bizarre to me that a kid who played one season of ball for a 500 team is able to live a life like this while fans who have poured out money for years are being asked for more to fund adventures for kids, doesn’t seem right especially with plenty of causes this money could go.

That seems to me to be more the fans’ fault and their misplaced priorities than Judahs though.
