Georgia, Villanova, and South Carolina all being mentioned with the Minnesota kid, but not Syracuse?
Makes me think we’re getting Leffew.

Out: Judah Mintz Maliq Brown Quadir Copeland Justin Taylor Mounir Hima Peter Carey
In: Eddie Lampkin Dakota Leffew Jaquan Carlos Jyare Davis Donnie Freeman Elijah Moore
I think we lost 3 guys who were good enough to be in the game.
I’m thinking we added at least 5 that are good enough to be in the game. We’ll see.

Honestly if we weren't married to Chris Bell starting for whatever dumb reason and added some wing who could actually play basketball I would be pretty in on this team. Right now our ceiling is prob like 8-10 seed because we don't have the shooting or defense to be good.
If we had a very good wing who can shoot and defend starting in place of Chris Bell we could convince ourselves that we could contend for the ACC if things broke right. JJ big step forward, Donnie being a stud from day one, Bell being cool with a six man role, etc. Chance being healthy is probably the most important component of it all outside of Donnie.

Maybe Chance is that wing? Cant count on it, but that would certainly be a positive development.

I think a healthy Chance could be the best player on the team and could play the 1-3 but I have ZERO reason to believe he will ever be healthy for an entire season. The UpstateSM of old (9 months ago) would be penciling him in as a starter but I am sick of being hurt. Would be very fun if it works out for him this year.

Can someone explain West Virginia’s portal success to me? I see they’ve got two top transfers this year, after getting Edwards last year.
Where is that money coming from? They’re a mediocre program in a poor state, with a middle of the pack sized fanbase as far as I know?

As it turns out Huggy had a different career ending planned. Sad. Now I think they’re desperate trying to resurrect the situation.

This is List. Lol if it wasn’t funny I would be shaking my head. Our search for a big should be selling we have a 1 year starter and then the backup isn’t necessarily going to be ahead of you. If the backup can play then McLeod could be the 3rd center.

If we’re still seeking to beef up our roster, I’d take a flyer on this guy. Lu’Cye Patterson from Charlotte can score from just about anywhere on the floor, including from 3. He’s a bucket getter, and a great sixth man type. He averaged over 14ppg and shot 35% from 3 (39% the year before). Dude is a baller
Had 14 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists shooting 4 of 11 at Duke this season.
