I’ve liked literally 2 SU players’s games in the last 5 years: Kadary and Brown.I’m close to checking out. Couldn’t give a rats ass about watching a bunch of 23 year olds on their 3rd college showing up every year. It’s like Boeheim’s Army picking up guys who played somewhere else. Zero connection. Who cares. I almost posted something similarl while including Elijah Hughes. But then I was like, well, I liked other dudes - maybe not as a HUGE fan, but liked them well enough I suppose. Like a Braswell, etc......

Only Syracuse would think the Colorado guy and a freshman are better then an All ACC defensive team player and a 5 star freshman

Maliq and Donnie play the same position and Maliq won’t play center anymore… sooo… Instead of starting Taylor and Maliq It’s Freeman and Lampkin. That is an overall upgrade. If it had to be a trade off then yes I’d accept those terms.

FYI: Eddie's IG followers... Judah, Donnie, Choppa, Naheem, Coach Griff. If Judah actually comes back, oh my God. This can’t possibly get worse. If Judah is back I’m out 100%. If he stays with success hats off to Red for seeing it and I’ll be back when Mintz is gone. Unfortunately for Red I don’t think who you put around Judah, when Judahs gone I’m guessing Red isn’t far behind. You don’t bet on losers. Betting on a long shot there’s upside, betting on the perennial 8th best horse over and over, not going to do much better than 8th.

If Judah actually comes back, oh my God. This can’t possibly get worse. I think he’s gone. If we could get Malik Mack or Erik Reynolds we will a much better team? But I hear ya, Daddy ball was awful, Judah ball isn’t much better. Reynolds in and Judah out is probably the only thing I can get excited for at the moment. This absolutely sucks. I get more enjoyment from following the women’s team. Wish they could draw 20,000 a night so we could get some noise and atmosphere. That’s the only thing missing for me. Im legitimately fuming over this. Only good player who knows how to play on whole the fucking team, and he’s leaving? SMH.

It definitely hurts. My two favorite players (Q and Maliq) are both leaving. That sucks big time.

The people spinning this okay or patience just don’t realize what the totality of the last decade has done to our program or relevance. It’s mainly Jim Boeheim fans over Syracuse fans who are spinning. Losing Maliq Brown shows we are feeder school in essence. Good teams aren’t losing their best players. Jessie Edwards leaving phucked this year’s team. If we had him we likely are a tournament team this year. We all know it was NIl wasn’t ready and the school alums stepped up.
Losing Maliq is such a killer. He is an all-conference defender and if was used correctly could help more on offense. He had 2 guards who played and never faced consequences for terrible shots or turnstile defense and then one forward who could play defense and help on the boards but couldn’t make a shot and another forward who was allergic to doing anything but shoot 3’s and then 3 center between that couldn’t play in the Atlantic-10 mind the ACC.
This chit is maddening. But let’s just be patience and see what happens. We are going to be lucky if we are mediocre next year. I can’t do another year of Mintz-Starling-Bell. Congrats to Jim Boeheim for being a sensitive selfish ahole. Mike Hopkins leaving Syracuse essentially was the equivalent of firing Coach P. That 2021 sweet 16 was worth it.
