So bad. Screens do nothing. Frank can’t turn the corner. Picking up dribbles when you could be turning the corner. So many lucky bailout shots. A good team would be easily beating us now.

I almost think Boeheim lets guys 1-on-1/over dribble SO much that it even surprises well prepared teams. I mean our offense literally is bailout shots more often than not.

Dolejaz really adds offensively when he's out there. Some great passes. But you're right... lots of iso ball.

Yes. Some nice backdoors via Dolezaj passes. Too many offense droughts tonight. Fortunate.

I mean... we are up double digits vs. a team that worked over L’ville and FSU. Hard to complain about that... yet, here we are.

Got to see first half and some of the second as we were dealing with tornado threats down here, which one hit about 15 minutes from us. Didn't see the last ten minutes as our cable went out and we were blacked out on ESPN app due to game being televised locally. I did see some of scores and even when we were up big you know they would make a run cause JB loves to slow the tempo and kill offensive momentum..smh

It was godawful. Fortunately Pitt was worse, we kept making tough shots, some occasional open Buddy threes, and some nice backdoor passes from Marek.

They did what they had to do. I was describing factual events. Really poor basketball. Yes, they did what they were supposed to do. Not really shitting on them either, frankly. Marek’s passing was really terrific on those backdoors. It’s just playing Russian Roulette depending on the majority of the offense to be making tough shots often late in the shot clock. Pascal was a pretty good deterrent today on D.

The problem with our offense is that when shots go in there is a false sense of security that all is well. But the offense really is probably about 70% isolation moves and threes. Tonight Marek made some really nice plays finding guys cutting to the basket. But that was also open because of the lack of size on Pitt's team.
I agree that running the pick and roll with Chewy is plain dumb. The defense doesn't even have to defend Chewy because he can't catch it and score of the pick and roll.
Overall, with exception of a couple of lapses the team played well today.
