And JB continues to try to make 2G's into PG's and this is what happens -
SU, too, could use a few more passers/facilitators. The Orange ranked 223rd nationally in assist rate, which is actually better than it was a season earlier (289). When SU's penetrators broached the lane, defenders could lay in wait near the rim, knowing a shot was more than likely to go up.

Other observations:
SU got outscored in the second half. In the games they lost it was by the substantial margin of 441-316. Furthermore, our own shooting percentage dropped in the second half by a significant margin as well.
What does this mean???
My take is this... we got worn out. When you are playing against teams that outmuscle and outweigh you at nearly every position it takes it's toll. WE NEED MUSCLE! WE NEED A REAL STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING PROGRAM! Could someone please send JB the memo???

Too much ISO, struggling to dribble and shake free of defenders, forcing tougher shots, etc., takes its toll as well.
But, yes, fatigue because of lack of strength is probably a big factor like you suspect, Jazz.

Another reason for the second half meltdowns is that other teams make adjustments at the half. We just keep on playing zone and ISO ball. Frustrating.
