I know an actual PG and glad not see Combo Guard -
Name: Dug McDaniel
Position: Point Guard
Recruiting Interest: Georgetown, Maryland, Villanova, Syracuse, Virginia, Wake Forest and others
McDaniel was probably the smallest player at camp measuring at 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds, but he was also one of the most effective. The diminutive floor general did a tremendous job of leading his team. McDaniel isn't big, but he knows how to play at his size, and at times can even use it to his advantage. He has a tremendous ability to change speeds with his dribble, and also is a crafty finisher against taller players. What he does best is pass and get others involved. McDaniel sees the floor as well as anybody in the country, and then delivers slick passes on time and on target to create open looks for his teammates.

Point guard play was actually half that bad. Camp settings are not always the best to evaluate primarily since the ball is customarily glued to the hands of the point guard and shot selection is not the best. This week was different. The past few recruiting cycles have not brought the best at the lead guard spot whenever it comes to depth atop but that is going to change with the upcoming classes. Kennedy Chandler was awesome, as was Devin Askew. Khristian Lander showed off a smooth jump shot and playmaking value and no one may have run their team more effectively than freshman Dug McDan
