Dang staff is killing it the last week or so with commits. Maybe our b-ball staff needs to take some notes/lessons. It also bodes well when you have a younger HC and not an old fossil.
After looking at his tape reminds me a little of Steve Ishmael and Jamal Custis.

Certainly weβve landed some gems, but we do need to be better.

Agreed, but until we start having winning seasons we are going to have trouble attracting those type of recruits. Having the 10 win season two years ago and great, but laying the egg this year hurt. The only good thing that came out of that is they finally got rid of Ward as the DC and got rid of Lynch as the OC. I think going forward both units will be better. See Dino listened to the AD and made the right changes where a certain stubborn b-ball HC doesn't like change.

Just seeing this. Awesome! I think football is a better avenue than basketball for a roster of 3* guys to contribute and make a team a pretty solid contender. You get good position coaches, S&C, etc., and it works. Always impressed with Boise St. They are always near us in the recruiting composite rankings. 50s and 60s. EVERY year. They have had at least two NFL draft picks EVERY year since 2011. Crazy! Some good ones too. Leighton VanderEsch, DeMarcus Lawrence, Mattison, Scandrick, Jay Ajayi, etc. I think they would get to a bowl game out of pretty much any power conference as well.
