They have two good guards ahead of him in the rotation. Maybe he can be a sixth man instant offense type guy. Still, without improving that handle and shot he won’t play much, IMO.

Hilarious he screwed over gtown and uconn I don’t think those were serious landing spots honestly. He needs to put in a TON of work on his game. Frankly, I think URI‘s current guards are going to eat him alive in practice.

I don’t know how Syracuse missed so badly on the assessment of Carey. Kaleb Joseph too. Hopefully Kadary will not be strike three. I’m high on his floor game but his shot mechanics concern me.

The good news with Kadary if he struggles with his shot is that we do not need him to be a shooter in the slightest. Be a menace and physical presences at the top of the zone on D and on O just be a slasher who can finish at the rim and find shooters. We will have plenty of shooters surrounding him.

True...but need his shot to be decent enough to at least force defenses to play him honest.

Actually, Jalen just needed to break down defense, drive-kick to shooters, etc. He couldn’t seem to even get to that point. The handle prevented him from getting downhill, imo.

Sure seems like he was vastly overrated.

Their fans are done with Carey lol. It’s the turnovers still with him. His assist to turnover ratio is still awful.
