Things seemed to have gone quiet on this one....it should be interesting to follow. The twists and turns and all the legal back and forth may be the best sports entertainment we have this summer. Duke will somehow come out unscathed. That's about all I'm confident in. www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29201634/zion-williamson-lawyers-ask-federal-judge-void-rookie-marketing-agreementIn a motion filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Williamson's attorneys restated their argument that the NBA star's marketing agreement wasn't valid because Ford wasn't a registered agent in North Carolina, and the contract didn't include a warning that was required by a state law designed to protect amateur athletes from unscrupulous agents.

Think sides are working out deals on how this will all play out and don't want to rush anything. Plus like you kind of hinted above, how can anyone touch the devoted, honest, human being Coach K is that has never ever done anything illegal when it comes to recruiting (tongue in cheek here).

It stills stuns me that perhaps the biggest mistake SU made, was likely just that we self-reported. If we just sit back and deny, we probably see almost nothing come of that whole affair. We would have been better off just going all-in and keeping Fab on the court.

Let's see if he will tell the truth and have someone finally throw Dook under the bus.

If that’s not enough to get Duke and Coach K in trouble nothing is... everyone knows they’re dirty, and always have been. If JB did that he’d have been banned forever.

“After Plaintiff selected Duke and moved to North Carolina,” the filing states, “he and his family resided in a property which was valued at approximately $950,000 at that time and for which the monthly rent was listed at ($4,995). This property is owned by Thomas Morris, who, upon information and belief, is an alumnus of Duke.”
