Dear Qudus,
Pitt, Georgetown and UCONN can't even come close to offering you what Syracuse can. There is immediate playing time available with Chukwu leaving. You can't be scared off by JBA or Sidibe???
Syracuse is in a better conference, and has a better coach, better facilities, more exposure on television, and an immediate opportunity to play. Other than a bag 💰 I can't fathom why you'd choose any of those schools over Syracuse.
Sincerely,
Jazz 🎷🎷🎷

PC had a good game so maybe he can envision himself having more of a impact. It definitely wont come down to $ because his handler (duval Simmonds) is not like that at all...hes actually pretty vocal about the stuff going on.

The basketball early signing period is one that brings much less drama compared to the football end of the spectrum. While the majority of the previously committed have gone on to already sign, the reverberating theme in recent weeks leading up to today and the constant refrain that has continued in the past few hours is that those that have not committed, won’t do as such before the early signing period concludes next week
Earlier today, we confirmed the the news that Vernon Carey, Isaiah Stewart, Cassius Stanley and Terrence Shannon will hold off from committing this week. They are not alone as CJ Walker, who has been down to a final three of LSU, Miami and Oregon, will hold off from signing.
The same goes for Akok Akok and Qudus Wahab as both have told Rivals.com that they are more than likely to not sign this week. Fans of Georgetown, Pitt, Providence, Syracuse, UConn and Virginia Tech will have to wait a little longer to either rejoice or figure out what their programs’ next move will be.

Pitt remains heavily in the mix for Akok Akok and Qudus Wahab this fall. Neither seem to be in much of a rush to make a college decision, and they will now sign in the spring. The Panthers and UConn were the most discussed programs with Akok over the weekend during the National Prep Showcase, while Georgetown, Pitt and UConn are the three that have gained the most pub with Wahab.

There’s a shot that Pittsburgh can land both Tyrese Samuel and Qudus Wahab. But if I ever had to choose between the two I’d say it’s more likely that Samuel commits. Jeff Capel’s system is a perfect match for Samuel. The 6-8 wing can run the floor really well, freak athleticism, and is a good on-ball defender.
For Wahab, you have teams like Georgetown and UConn who are on the mend. It’s the same for Samuel who’s got UConn as one of his top-teams right now. He also told Stockrisers he could potentially schedule a Georgetown visit.

No mention of Syracuse lately... we need Wahab or Carrigan so badly.

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 · Nov 25, 2018 Looking for all of your college basketball and recruiting related questions for this week’s #TwitterTuesday
Tim Bowers @timbowers62 Will Pitt find size in next year’s class?
11:56 AM - Nov 25, 2018 Twitter Ads info and privacy See Tim Bowers's other Tweets Twitter Ads info and privacy The Panthers absolutely have to, right? Jeff Capel and his staff found, what looks to be, foundational pieces in freshmen Au’Diese Toney, Trey McGowens and Xavier Johnson but the team's frontline remains thin at best.
The recruitment of Akok Akok is one of the weirdest ones that I have covered in recent years. There is now news that he will enroll mid-year, which only speeds up his recruitment. UConn looks to be the team to beat, but the Huskies would have to square away their scholarship count as they are all full for this year.
Tyrese Samuel, a four-star forward from Canada committed today to Seton Hall so he is longer an option. Qudus Wahab remains a heavy target, but there is no timetable for his commitment - it could happen tomorrow or it could happen in the spring. Georgetown and UConn are the most talked about outside of Pitt.
The Panthers are also involved with Karim Coulibaly, a three-star center that told Rivals.com last week that the Panthers are among the six standing out. Top-35 center Kofi Cockburn will take an official visit to Pitt in the coming weeks, too.
In the end, I would be rather shocked if the Panthers do not land at least one of those listed above, although they would probably prefer two. The grad-transfer wire and decommitment front are also avenues to monitor as Pitt tries to address its frontline issues.
