I’m sure Griffin actually wants to play his natural position somewhere. Just can’t see Marek and Bourama back. We’ll see about Q’s evaluation but maybe he just wants to be a pro somewhere. Besides, he is old for his class and if he does return he’ll likely be on a much worse team. I'll never quite grasp how Buddy Boeheim got more minutes at SF this season than Alan Griffin got at SG. Especially considering how the two were playing for the first 2/3 of the season. It's mind boggling. If I'm anyone other than Buddy, and Joe I would want off the squad. Everything is always such an unknown. Might Jimmy transfer in and take my minutes? We're a mess of a program. That doesn't mean we may not do well next year, we could, but we're still an absolute mess.

Hard to get excited with another year of JG as your PG when you know KD got it done on both ends of the court and should be the starter. Plus you probably will get even more favoritism with another Boehiem on the team and that may kill chemistry. How do we justify playing zone with those two? That will always perplex me the most. For years nobody could get on the court because of their bad defense. Now, it simply does not factor in at the guard position. That was our entire reason for never recruiting decent point guards. It's a tad strange.

It's funny as this is the same guy that says we need height/length to fit the zone which JG does neither.

I know - it seems like we didn't bother with some GREAT recruits because of size. The Nova kid, the Iowa State kid, yet here we are with Joe Girard and Buddy. So bizarre to see it play out. It's like we're building a roster that requires the least amount of coaching and the least ability to complain about PT as the options all are sort of pedestrian.
