Cuse in Da House -
followed this week in California by some of the biggest names in the sport. Why? Well, beyond the fact that he is a physical specimen that can shoot to beyond the 3-point line, defend three positions and score in the low post, Guerrier is going to take an unconventional approach to college. “I am going to enroll mid-year after the fall semester for college,” he told Rivals.com. “Who is recruiting me right now is Syracuse, Oregon, NC State, Vanderbilt, Creighton, Illinois, Indiana and a bunch of other schools.”
Guerrier already has a plan in place for the next step towards his college decision. “After the adidas Gauntlet I am going to narrow it down more. I had an unofficial visit to Syracuse last year but I haven’t taken anything recently,” he said. “After this week, I am going to cut down my list and set up my visits.”
Throughout the week here in California, Dana Altman, Jim Boeheim, Dana Altman, Archie Miller and Greg McDermott are just a few of the head coaches that have been spotted closely watching Guerrier.
Look for a few visits to be set by the time August rolls around as one program will enroll a ready-made frontcourt contributor this winter.

Anyone know Oregon’s scholarship situation? Okoro (too 35 2019) reclassed to 2018 and is starting classes Monday. Would be interesting to see if this takes them out of the QG sweepstakes then.

I'm not sure of their situation but I still think we are top dog right now for Quincy.

I'm not sure of their situation but I still think we are top dog right now for Quincy. Me too. Think he definitely ends up in Orange but recruiting is a dog so we’ll wait and see.

I agree. Right now still like our chances with him and Akok. Wahab or Jones is going to be a dogfight I believe. Right now would say chances would be better with Wahab but heck in a week that could change. Sounds like we are in good shape with Girard too. I did see a few tweets today where SU was checking out these games so no idea who else they are recruiting and maybe for 2020 or 2021.

Clifford Omoruyi is on NY lightning so I’d guess at least him. As for boo Williams 16U I’m not sure. I couldn’t even find an active roster.

"Quincy Guerrier has talked about enrolling in college in December following the completion of the fall semester. He told Rivals.com last week that he hopes to narrow his school list in the coming days and take visits thereafter. Syracuse, Oregon, NC State, Vanderbilt, Creighton, Illinois and Indiana were just a few of the programs that he could name as to who has expressed strong interest with him in recent months.
Talk has continued to swirl around Syracuse and Oregon as the two to beat. Each have had great success with Canadian talent and remained a presence at many of his games this summer at both of his stops in New York and California."

Anyone else notice how we’re name dropped by him in every single piece? Not Oregon or ASU or anyone else, but us. Gotta be a good sign.

Would rather see a shorter list but still like our chances at this point.

Think it will be between us and Oregon at the end and hopefully we win out - Hearing the same. Illinois could become a player because they lost out on Whitney. Orlando Antigua has resources.
