Free throw disparity says yes. How many of those FT’s came in the last minute when N.O. was fouling on purpose every possession? 6? 8? Nuggets are the only team in the West I’m worried about, smh.

Maybe if they took care of the ball better, they would’ve gotten fouled in the act of shooting on those possessions?

The 76ers have better odds to win the East than the Knicks.
Kinda funny that Thibs going crazy for the 2 Seed is getting him Philadelphia or Miami first round. Indiana would have been their opponent if they lost.
The Pacers matchup against the Bucks because their pace forces Milwaukee to play smaller and they can’t use Lopez as much.
I think the Bucks are lucky Giannis signed last year. Doc Rivers had them under .500.
Boston-Miami will be a good series if it happens. I think Philadelphia right now is the 2nd best team in the East.
I legit think the Lakers would beat anyone but Denver in the West. This first round IMO will determine who wins the West. The Lakers get more days off between games in the first round than anyone other round. That will help.

They finally have a dream season and get a 2 seed, and will play a team that’s better than them. No Randle for the Knicks, but Embiid likely back for the Sixers? Tough break. Not convinced Philly beats the Heat though. Never quite know how to predict the Heat. Agreed on the Lakers. I was craving a first round matchup with OKC or Minnesota, so we could smack them around just like we did Memphis last year. Denver is a different story though. Only team I didn’t want to see until the WCF. Bucks are getting what they deserve for that busybody move. Fire your coach when you’re winning almost all your games. SMH.

It has to be said but Doris Burke is a terrible announcer. She is sensitive to NBA twitter based on how JJ Redick made a joke about himself and NBA twitter and Burke going out of her way to rip it. She can’t go 2 possessions without metaphorically wanting to blow Joel Embiid for something fairly simple. Her gender has nothing to do with this take. She sucks. Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson duo were so much better.

Butler just fell asleep on defense. May have resulted in the GWFG for the Sixers

With that Boston got lucky with their draw. Miami healthy would have been the tougher series than Orlando-Cleveland. Orlando I would give a chance to win a couple of games. Cleveland isn’t a threat to beat Boston 4 of 7. Miami without Butler will fight against Boston but they won’t have the offense to stop Tatum/Brown/Porzingis/White/Holiday.

Brunson is one of those guys who slows down and puts his ass on people to get fouled. Im tired of those guys. Knicks and Embiid are among the worst foul hunters in the league. Brunson does that a lot. Sixers if they lose this game will be out in 5. They have to win this game.
