Does this mean we're going dancing in March??? Seriously though, very good win. After that debacle last game we needed to take a game over and then hold it down. Some miscues that may hurt us against better teams when the lead was about 10 - but just a solid effort overall. Starling hitting shots was nice. Cuffe looked good early as well - maybe I wasn't paying attention but didn't notice him much after that. Certainly a nice bounce back win after last game. Now I’m looking at the schedule and seeing 3 straight home games, followed by BC and thinking - we can get to 16-5? Then at Wake - they’re good but not elite. Then Louisville? Why not 18-5. Then Clemson comes ROLLing into the Dome, and we have a 6 game winning streak of momentum. 19-5 for the UNC rematch? In that one, I say right on the jump ball all 5 of our guys just square up with them, like hockey guys do when it’s obvious you gotta fight somebody. After what they did to us….we gotta fight. Everybody grab a man and start throwing haymakers. Nobody leave the bench. After all 10 starters get tossed, hope our bench can beat theirs. Given that our 2 best players come off the bench, I think we win this one. 20-5. After that we take a trip to the vaunted “scene”. We’re going to frisbee a bunch of shitty Jermaine Dupri CD’s at their nerd ass fans, and establish how things are going to go right off the bat. 21-5. State, ND, VT, Louisville - 25-5. Then we go down to Clemson and slap the grits out of Joe Girard’s mouth. 26-5. Once you get to 26-5, anything can happen. This is most likely how things play out from here.

It was funny/maddening how the commentators couldn’t figure out why the Pitt kids kept booing Mintz.
Mintz decommitted from Pitt. Cmon guys!

I have to admit, I like what I saw from Mintz during the skirmish in the second half. He got Copeland out of there and helped diffuse the situation.
Solid leadership and a solid win.

That’s a good point. Of course, Benny got too spazzy like usual. Copeland - I feel like he’s built for that stuff, and I don’t worry about him. Like Devo. It’ll either have no effect and he won’t cross the line, or he’ll play better. Benny wants to be built for it, but he isn’t and so tries too hard and overcompensates. pleasantly surprised by Judah being focused on the W and not pretending to be tough there. Thats growth.
