Just listened to the pod, love the Green story. However, you forgot to mention anything about WWW and his role. You know that shady f*ck was involved, I remember seeing Green and a few others sitting at the Garden with WWW watching Kentucky playing just around the time he was wavering. Green turned to be a bit of a bust. Looks like a poor slimmer version of scoop, can pass but can not shoot that great. I agree full on that we can not put all our eggs in one basket. I like what they are doing for SG in the 2022 class. Everyone things Westery will show, but what if he bolts to someone else, the Gayle kid is right there, and then there is Cruz.

Green would’ve better than Frank though. The staff I believe were scared shitless going into that season with Frank as the guy to be running the team or else they would not have gone after Quade so hard. No way in hell they didn’t promise him the keys to the bus. Green started to improve at UK and was solid at UW prior to the academics. But, yeah, a disappointment for sure considering the hype.
Tough to hear (again) potential PGs who possibly could’ve come here (albeit longshots) instead of Carey. No doubt we would have been in MUCH better shape with a Duke or Zegarowski. That lets Girard work off the ball some or come in as a really good backup PG. Of course Buddy throws a wrench into things but it is what it is lol.

The WWW was on the original Q. Green podcast which Dean said he can't locate right now. He was basically try to sum it up rather quickly instead of going through the whole debacle again but yep you are right about WWW and sitting in the Garden with him. Quade got snowballed by Cal and his goons about being the man and if he had stuck to his guns to come to SU, to me he would have been our PG. Frank Howard could have left if he didn't like it as he was a PITA on and off while he was at SU.

Another good one! Like Dean says, it will be interesting to see how Mike Adams-Woods and Symir Torrence do this year with having the keys to the bus full time. As we know we are very thin in the backcourt and in the ballhandling dept in general...seems like a recurring theme. We have one true PG on the roster and he’s a frosh. Either of those two would’ve been instant help last year or moving forward.

Did he predict we would fall apart due to the pressure D?
