in the video they mention he's a LaSalle commit, but we'd have to be the front-runners over them or the Bonnies, right?

Very interesting. I’m hopeful this means we would take him AND Braswell, and not sit on open scholarships.

Yeah I'm totally hoping this would be in addition to Braswell not either or. Of course I want a monster class for 2019 but we have major competition and rather not be stuck like we were with Quade.

Older article
Above is an older but good article on this kids background talking about his original commitment to LaSalle a bit as well.

“It’s a blessing to be able to go to (college) for free,” Osunniyi said. “It takes a weight off my parents. I don’t have to worry about student loans.”
i like this guy

This is too funny. A certain poster on another board said we were done recruiting for 2018 right after the Baz fiasco and then said the recruitment on this was dead a few weeks ago So he deletes that post and people think he’s still an insider.....smh

Different positions. That’s my hope, at least.

hopefully we can seal the deal on both of them! Would be 2 great additions especially this late in the game and would provide some much needed depth and a solid foundation going into next years class.

His story reminds me a little of Anthony Davis since he's grown ~10 inches since freshman year. Hopefully there are no "droppin bags" stories too.

Another reason this makes a boatload of sense is that if we lose both Oshae and Marek next year we are royally effed at forward. Of course we are recruiting some solid guys but having two returning plus any frosh is much better program wise. Plus we lose PC so we need a man in the middle too with Bourama.

Looks very mobile. I’m drawing a blank. We’ve had players from Putnam Science, right? I know we recruited Diallo and Ayala from there.
