.... I'm glad that we moved Kahlil Whitney to five-star status during the update to our 2019 rankings at the beginning of the month. But, he could still go a little higher. No, there's no such thing as a sixth star or anything like that, but he could legitimately compete for the national top 15 by summer's end. The way he's raised his level of play since the end of the high school season is equal parts getting to be the main man and getting in the gym and working. His athleticism and strength remain his calling card, but his jumper and handle are improving. Illinois, Florida State, Oregon, Syracuse, St. John's, Oregon, Pittsburgh, LSU, Louisville and many others have been mentioned with him but Kentucky's John Calipari was in to see him on Wednesday night and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kansas look to get involved.

When it comes to scoring the ball, there was not a better player at the Summer Jam than Kahlil Whitney.
The five-star had a tremendous spring but during July he's taken his game to an entirely new level. The jump shot is falling, he's trusting his ball handling more and as they say, confidence is a heck of a drug.
Big time athlete, big time scorer and big time prospect. Look for him to set up a visit with Kentucky now that they are making him a priority while Illinois and Louisville look to be pretty strong with Whitney -- who will soon release a top eight.
Translation to Cuse Fans = He gone

When the biggest crook in college b-ball gets involved it means time to look elsewhere. Ratface K is the second worst right.

Must be the check is about cleared. Gotta love WWW, Paypal Cal, and the UK Boosters while the NCAA turns the other cheek.

They must think the check has cleared too -
Kentucky has picked up some serious steam in its pursuit of Whitney, a terrific athlete on the wing. At the start of July, Whitney didn’t have a single Kentucky prediction in his 247Sports Crystal Ball, while the Wildcats now sit as the odds-on favorite to land his commitment. What would the Wildcats get in Whitney, who averaged 21.1 points and shot 38 percent from three through the EYBL season and Peach Jam? “Blessed with an incredible combination of size and athleticism for a wing, Whitney has exploded over the last 12 months,” Snow said. “He is more consistent with his effort, and that has allowed the natural talent to shine through.” Whitney is the No. 5 small forward in the 247Sports Composite.
