This would be a nice rebound from Dre if the kid is interested. He’s a four star recruit, top 100 on ESPN now, and unlike Andre, he can shoot. The size at the top of the zone would be sweet... 6’5 PG!

Interesting... UConn was recruiting him but they’re apparently out since landing Andre. He’s not quite as athletic as Andre, but his size and length are a great fit for the zone. He’s a NY guy too. I’d be happy if we landed him. For what we actually need he might be a better fit than Andre. He can shoot, and his size and strength are better. He’s more of a combo guard though, and not a true PG. What do you guys think?

This guy seems like he can play. Oregon offered him. I am still holding out for Isaiah because I think he’s a real difference maker.

Personally I want him playing MINIMAL minutes at PG. But you know how JB does. He doesn’t look especially quick playing against scrubs and has a slow release. Looks like Frank Howard pt 2, frankly. Ideally you play him best case 10 or 15 minutes at either position. I don’t see an explosive type of guy. Maybe some decent combo guard depth? To me this guy doesn’t jump out as some big time starter or All-ACC player.

I understand the skepticism Sobe... we’ve certainly been burned by combo guards. I haven’t seen enough of him to form an opinion yet. I will say this... while Andre Jackson’s ranking dropped all summer, Kadary’s ranking climbed all the way from 300 to 100. I’m curious to see what Deano thinks of this new offer.

Seriously another guard. We got like 5 guards now and none are leaving after this so where would this kid think he's going to get PT. Buddy and Carey still have 2 years after this year. Goodine and JG3 are freshman, plus Washington is still currently here. Wouldn't get my hopes up on this one and to me makes no freaking sense.

He does appear to have some game, but you’re right, with five guards, where is the PT coming from? Unless guys leave/transfer out... Washington perhaps? Also he’s not a true point guard either. Hmmm... just a guess, but I suspect the offer indicates the staff realize they’re going to whiff on Isaiah. I’d really like to land an elite big... still waiting...

I did read on one site that he’s played small forward. Maybe they think he can play the 3?

No, too small IMHO

Hughes at 6’6 is playing SF. Richmond is 6’5. It’s not ideal for sure. But the staff must see something.

I’d like him as a 2 down the road with the ability to play the point at times. Too often we have had a 2 who can’t handle the ball. This guy I think would have some flexibility and skill there. He’s just not an elite type of recruit.

Again where does he get PT with a log jam ahead of him.
