This is a really nice pickup by the staff. I like his game, and the improvement/rise up the rankings is really impressive. I maintain that he can become a better player than Dre. My only concern is that I really believe we needed to obtain a big man (Isaiah) that would be more college ready. At this point, we just have to hope and pray that JBA and Jesse can contribute quickly. But getting back to Kadary, this kid has a nice game, and I’m very happy he has chosen SU. Does anyone know how his first name is pronounced? Probably Ka-DAR-y but who knows. Yeah, we just gotta hope our young bigs progress rapidly. IJ would’ve been huge to get some real recruiting swagger/mojo back since he is a 5*. The more the merrier re: ballhandlers/scorers/well-rounded guards. He looks like he can do a lot.

I wasn’t sure if it is pronounced Ka-Dar-ee or Ka-Dair-ee I agree that if we could land a five star kid it would go a long way to help improve the image of the state of the program. Hopefully Kadary will blow up this year, and remain committed to SU.

Too funny, Dean's pod a little while ago comes out and see he be shocked if it wasn't SU then boom. Jackson on the other hand, ummmmmm. Not looking good on the Isaiah front I take it?

No ribbing on this but the way he slashes and finishes to hole reminds me a little Dion Waiters

Not looking good on the Isaiah front I take it? Yep that ship has sailed According to someone over at the fan that supposedly has a good connection, is hearing good things and feels pretty good at the moment. Not sure what to make of that. Everything I have seen or heard is a distant 3rd but maybe the quietness of this is a good thing? I'd like to think we make the most sense for him to come in right away and be the man. Play at a prestigious basketball school in the best conference there is....but there are definitely things working against us lately. Would really be huge if we somehow pull this one off but I'm trying to not let myself think we even have a chance because then I'll just be disappointed.

I'm trying not to get my Hopes up and I have a feeling I know how this will go but who knows at this point. Its been a fairly quiet recruitment so if anyone is saying anything with certainty then they are full of shit. Would really love to land a 5 star stud again....forgot how that feels around here.

Never heard of that dude, but maybe it's an alias for sudreaming or the other name he was using too . The source I heard it from has a podcast and is WAYYYYYYY more reliable, you probably know whom I'm referring to. Plus there are other recruiting analysts who have don't even mention SU on their predictions.

Nice write up on kadary. "Five-Star Candidates: Who Can Make A Real Push For The Final Star? While the AAU is the most public platform for recruits to show their talents, the 2020 rankings are far from set in stone. Year after year, we’ve seen fringe five-star players have very productive high school campaigns that result in a fifth star to their name, and sometimes invitations to an event on the all-star circuit. Based on their play over the summer combined with a projection of their high school season, I’m going to give you three names that I think will make a strong push for the top tier once it’s all said and done. Kadary Richmond The biggest sleeper of the three, is recent Syracuse commit Kadary Richmond. After a summer where he picked up serious momentum, the Brooklyn native is garnering early rave reviews at Brewster Academy. The 6’5” lanky combo guard is the epitome of versatile. On offense, his slick combos and complex understanding of the game allow him to do unique things on the basketball court. Richmond is lethal when getting downhill, and his spin move is very effective. I was most impressed by some of the live dribble passes he made, while he isn’t built like a one, I think it’s fair to assume he’ll initiate a lot of offense for Brewster this year. He jumped over 200 spots in the 247 composite rankings this summer, and I think it’s safe to say he’s just getting started." stockrisers.com/2019/10/30/rosen-five-star-candidates-who-can-make-a-real-push-for-the-final-star/
