Anyone think Colgate can beat us this year? Itβs supposed to be their best team in quite a while. Ours might just be our worst. I would imagine the folks calling for the JB axe will get louder if that happens. If losing the way we did to an inexperienced Virginia squad wasnβt bad enough, a loss to Colgate would be the icing on the cake... that would be ENOUGH!

Weβre in bigger trouble than I thought if we lose to Colgate.

Wonβt be easy. I expect to win by around 10. Sadly, thatβs where we are as a program. Still, Colgate has key parts back from a team that gave Tennessee a game til the very end last year in the Tourney. Their PG will be the best player on the floor except for possibly Hughes.

Syracuse 48 Colgate 47 An ugly win. Man if we score 48 against Colgate then we have serious problems. Clemson scored 81 on them yesterday. Carey will have a good test. If he struggles again then that might be it for him at PG.

Syracuse 61 Colgate 60
Yes theyβre a threat. If we donβt come to play we will lose. Colgate knows this is likely their best chance to beat us.

I would think their eyes are going to light up playing the Zone. We canβt rebound and run so the pace is going to keep them in it, regardless.

9-1 Colgate nearly six minutes into the game? WTF? What did we do all week in practice?

9-1 Colgate nearly six minutes into the game? WTF? What did we do all week in practice? We win but only because they don't want to put a hand in buddy's face. Our defense is giving up so many open looks.

Weβre too soft to play aggressive D. Youβre right, lotβs of open looks. We will get by against less physical teams, and live and die by the 3 against good teams.

Theyβre a lot more fun to watch than we are. This team isn't exciting to watch at all. Outside of watching Buddy's beautiful stroke there isnt much that is must see tv. Marek does everything average, Hughes is incredibly overrated by our fan base, Girard literally chucks it every time he has the ball, Carey ugggh
