Why he could be climbing: With Jones it was mostly a matter of getting more familiar with his game. A native of The Bahamas, Jones is an extreme run-and-jump athlete who oozes upside and long-term potential.
Recruitment: Jones just finished a visit to Florida State, and has Arizona, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Miami, Texas, Ohio State, Stanford and others involved.

**Kai Jones, the 6-foot-10 center from Brewster (NH) Academy, takes his third official visit to Texas this weekend (Sept. 21). Jones has taken official visits to Florida State (Sept. 3) and Syracuse (Sept. 14). He also has an official visit planned to Baylor (Sept. 28).

In some way surprised and some way not. I didn't want to post this to now but didn't you find it weird that he visits FSU, then all of a sudden goes to SU to visit the weekend they are playing FSU. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

I'm going with FSU at this point and if that pans out hopefully he's not a thorn in our side when we play them although I do wish him all the best.
