Who do we need the MOST to step up for us to make a tourney run?
Who is our biggest X factor?
I'd vote for Q as the guy we really need to step up. His game has been all over the place of late, so getting him to provide a consistently good/great 40 minutes would be a huge lift as the 5 spot remains a mystery in my mind.
Our 'X Factor' is Griffin. When he gets going he seems unstoppable at times, but he's also prone to turnovers. We need him to be "on" to open things up for himself, and hopefully Buddy/Q as a result.
Also, seeing Griffin get to play against Illinois would be phenomenal.

I actually think we need Joe to get his swag back. Heβll be matched up against a 5β8β guy tonight and has a chance to make some shots. We need Q to be a beast on the boards.

Joe was solid, got chewed out for that one turnover, but protected the ball pretty well against pressure for the most part. He also had a solid run where he hit some shots when they were focusing in on Buddy, or maybe that was when Buddy was sitting, either way - played well. Kadary and Woody were perfect from three tonight???

Bras has such a quick release. He also seems more adept at handling the ball than I would have guessed. He rarely dribbles, but he's made a few moves off the bounce in the latter portion of the year that left me wondering if he could offer more down the road.

I hope so because he plays very hard defensively. I donβt think heβs transferring anymore. Heβll see minutes next year.

I hope not.
His game has a smoothness to it. Bras and him are very long and bouncy - which fits our scheme for forwards quite well. If Woody gets a bit stronger we're in great shape down there (assuming they both develop a bit). Bras doesn't seem likely to add much strength, but I could see Woody doing that.

Agree about Woody and heβs got upside but when have a stud freshmen coming in going to b harder to get PT.

Minutes may be available depending on what happens with AG - is he coming back or was he someone that seems to want to go the NBA route? If he stays, and with Benny, Bras and Woody are really goign to have to compete for PT.
