he doesn’t stay in draft but will go in the portal
This is what you get as a coach when you top talent off, fudge up chemistry, just to get your own to play.
I hope to god this is the last year off all the Boehiem family

Yeah this is really unfortunate. We never rebound well but he could bang around a little and rebound. Swider doesn’t really rebound amd who knows about the others.
Bottom line is our athleticism REALLY drops off without Q and Kadary. Not good at all. I can see another situation where we shit the bed in the non-conference like 2017 with that Gillon/Andrew White team. We’ll pull out a few thrilling wins along the way to put us around the Bubble. If we go 0-5 (entirely possible) between Atlantis/Nova game/ACC-B10 opponent then this team probably will be on the wrong side of that Bubble like 2017.

So, we have assembled a squad that consists of JB, his kid's, and all his kid's best friends?
I mean, that doesn't even fly in high schools sports. Yet here we are.
I can't say I blame anyone for going - the PT on this squad seems heavily slanted toward being slow, bad on defense, but shooting well. So, pretty much if you can't shoot the three at a really good clip - you're getting burned in press conferences. Not sure kids love that.

Most if not all of the schools listed play the positionless smaller ball. Probably a better fit for him. Also heard Oregon might be in play since they recruited him before and they have that stud Canadian lead recruiter. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

I saw something after that first list that Kentucky and a few others, possibly Oregon, that were added to it too.

Heard that haha. I mean if the old man trots out (and you know he will) for extended minutes a lineup of Joe/Buddy/Jimmy/Swider/Sidibe then we aren’t beating many teams outside of Patriot League caliber squads.

not a bad list, i think he should come back to college. seems like he could use a bi tmore seasoning and one of those schools may put him over the top

I get why he moved on so he can highlight certain skills at the next level, but the reality is it is just not his game. He spent the majority of the night just floating around the 3 point line. Makes little sense with his skillset and is probably a detriment to the offense.
Lots of basketball left to play but I would none of the transfers we lost are playing so well or even getting huge minutes outside of QG (why they left). Think Kadary played like 20 minutes last night, including 0 in crunch time. Looked quite unenthused to be on the bench as well.

Quincy was never a great fit here though in H.S. he hit threes and was quicker/lighter. At SU he became a taller Paul Harris. Oregon lost a lot losing Duarte and their C. They are going to struggle since UCLA/USC/Arizona St will be strong clubs all year. Colorado and Arizona are still solid too. Watched most of the Hall/UM game. Impressed with SHall. They play great fundamental M2M. They would give us fits. Sturdy guards who can put it on the floor. Physical. Their big diesel C Okiagu really made Hunter Dickinson work. Banged and leaned on him. Kadary looks heavier and his defense isn’t good. That’s why Willard took him out. They lose if he played more.

Yea that was really glaring to me on Kadary. Almost to the point of lazy on D.
Again there is a lot of basketball to be played, but for this very moment in time makes you question if he made the right choice to leave. Unless something changes quickly he is just again the third guard playing less than he would here. Same goes for Woody playing 8 minutes a night thus far.
I am all for kids having the freedom to leave and go where they want with no penalty. Just something to be said for the grass not always being greener.
