I started this thread. I have still prioritized all the games since Georgetown. I've even gone to the Brown, Cornell and Virginia games in the Dome.... however... last night really ended any hope I have for this season. My sister and niece/nephew live in Boston. Every time we play there I book a flight and go to the game. She just asked me if I'm coming. After last night's game I decided no. Why would I fly out to see a team with a sub-500 record and zero hope for the future. If I don't see any commitment by Wildhack to make the change at the top that is needed then I'm just watching on TV when it's convenient. This is ridiculous at this point. We've been clamoring for this for almost 5 years now. They were warned. Recruiting took an obvious downturn, excellent recruits are decommitting at an unusual clip, and NOW we're seeing the head coach chase the best talent out of town in favor of inferior talent! I mean seriously does anyone think this team would be 7-7 with this starting lineup- Kadary, Quincy, Jesse, Buddy, Benny? I know Benny has not shown that he's starter-worthy but I'd bet that Kadary would have made him a better player. The bottom line is things are a disaster on the hill and they were warned. Now we have to worry about Autry, an unproven commodity, becoming the next in-house money saving coach. Wtf man seriously. Braswell could be a starter too. Think about that - a kid who emerged as a starter at the end of last season left….to go to a lower level program. That just doesn’t happen. We need a forward who can defend, like him. He would heads above shoulders be our best forward.

His versatility on this team with Edwards and the other two splitting time would be a big difference. His defense would a huge upgrade.

Only if Braswell took some big steps in the offseason, IMO. Not out of the realm of possibility but depending on Braswell just shows how low the talent level truly is here. I have no doubt he would’ve helped on D. He knew rotations and was pretty athletic (not as athletic as some think, IMO). However he was never a good rebounder and the guy is only averaging 1.6 boards per game at Charlotte lol. He moved like he was on ice skates often, still had no handle (worse than Cole) and wasn’t skilled enough to create off the bounce. He could make set shot threes from the corner. Cole is the better player and that’s not saying a lot.

I think the Va Tech game was the first game in forever I just casually watched with zero interest. It was sort of shocking, usually if I miss anything I'll rewatch the game - but at this point it just doesn't feel like you're going to miss much. Did we make shots? Yes? Did we win?
Did we not make shots? Oh, we lost I guess. That's all it sort of feels like now.
