We are a 50/50 ACC team. We're somewhere around 70-70 since we joined. I think after the recent win streak were prob like 75-73 or something like that. We regularly lose to inferior teams from mid major conferences and this year you can add on a Big East 0-15 horrible Georgetown squad to our list of losses.
UConn has passed us, Providence has passed us, Villanova is annually better than us and owns us in recruiting. I'm hearing that NJ recruits won't come here anymore because of how Boeheim treated Roberson. I'm mean holy f*** when is this guy going to effing retire?!?!
After last night's loss, a game which I was relatively pumped for, I finally realized that it's pointless to get pumped for any SU basketball games anymore. We are a 50/50 ACC program, and I need to stop living in the past when it comes to SU basketball. Those days are over. I had cognitive dissonance when it comes to SU basketball, but not anymore. I realize what we have become under this guy in his twilight years as coach. Pure selfishness.

I’m over this team outside of Jesse. I think Symir is awful, yet I want him to play more, that’s where we’re at.

I know. I'm at the same point right now. Every year I get excited but for what? A best possible conference record of 12-8? Freaking Colgate comes into the Dome and freaking beats us? I mean seriously the guy is 76 years old and has zero concept of continuity at the coaching position in college athletics. If he did he would realize it's hurting the program, but he doesn't care, it's all about him.

Symir is awful like you say but yet sometimes he needs to play more. Jesse was the bright spot and it’s still a Bubble team at best with him. And we‘re talking about an ACC that’s the worst it’s ever been. That is where we are.

I hadn't even read this thread yet before my post in the other one.
I really want more Sy, but mainly because he can actually move like a somewhat normal basketball player. Somewhat. I think I could deal with him as a four year low minute back up that maybe sees a steady increase. He's not good though. Yet, here I am, wanting MORE!!!!! Because we're that sad to watch.

Yeah…Buddy/Cole/Jimmy especially look like they are running through tar and/or have cinder blocks tied to their shoes.

Yeah…Buddy/Cole/Jimmy especially look like they are running through tar and/or have cinder blocks tied to their shoes. Jimmy has the level of aggression I would have wanted out of Tyler Lydon. He's just much weaker, slower, and a few inches shorter. He's also 10,000 times less useful on the defensive end. Which I guess is why he's always taking the goofiest shots I've ever seen - makes a pretty decent percentage though. I will give him that. He'd be fun to watch on a good team as a low minute guy. Really fun. His game is adorable!
