i.imgflip.com/7dcpww.jpgThis what goes on in Boeheim’s mind. I mean the arrogance to just say the fact 24k showed up for Senior Day and once in a lifetime 20 year reunion of the NC and retirement of Hak and GMac’s jersey is some serious Baghdad Bob spin. If he is coach next year Wildhack doesn’t care about the fans and the program should just put Boeheim’s Army on the front of the jersey instead of Syracuse/Cuse/Orange

I do think he comes back next year. But we'll see.
My vote at this point, is that Gerry becomes head coach. THEN, JB, Mike Brey, and then maybe Al Skinner as the assistants. Make it like one of those old buddy movies they do w/ Morgan Freeman, John Travolta and Michael Caine. Imagine all the great press we'd get!

We aren’t serious about being competitive anyway. Just make it a full clown show. Let’s hire Jimmy III to be director of Basketbwll operations. It can be like Billy Madison. Jimmy IIi wants to take over the family business but GMac is eyeing the job. So Jimmy has to dominate coaching a K-12 teams and until he wins a game at each level can’t get the Syracuse job. Sure let’s embrace everything as Jim Boeheim doesn’t think you are a fan of Syracuse basketball if you are frustrated at the state of the program but just a disloyal jerk/idiot.

For Jim Boeheim to conflate loyalty to the program with loyalty to one person within the program either validates his ignorance or his narcissism or both. I agree, it is absolutely amazing to me that he made that statement. So that means we can never criticize the people running things, we just need to be clapping seals devoid of emotion and interest in working toward achieving a successful product by all means necessary. The arrogance and nerve of the man is truly infuriating if nothing else.
He's hemorrhaging millions of dollars from the university for how many seasons now, and at 79 years old what is the effing point of occupying another year at the helm and delaying a transition?! It's just completely imbecilic at this point. If he comes back then the blame rests with more people than just this pompous jerk, namely the AD.

I thought my idea was good - but this is GREAT.

I'm sure he thinks he can pull it back together. I don't see it. I'm not sure most fans see it either any more. I do think A LOT likely still think of him with a ton of admiration for what he's meant and are conflicted about how to push him out, without being mean. lol He needs to step away, as he's ruining the brand, and did so with blinders on regarding his kids. He's not really owed much any more after they allowed that whole fiasco to play out. He should be gracious and take the hit and move on, but he seems willing to make this ugly. We shall see.
