Congrats to Coach Autry on his first recruit! All positivity in here!
Mintz seems awfully invested in JJ coming here. Could be the most talented backcourt in the ACC next year!

Having these 2 guys and hopefully Copeland all taking steps forward - we could be dangerous next year. It’s a very good start, for sure.

All in on three guard lineup of Mintz, JJ, and Q.
Thickburger can ride along too if hes good with 15 min per.

Based on what we saw this year, Copeland could thrive in an up and down type game, if we are truly able to effectively play that style. We certainly need to get away from having 2 forwards out there at the same time, that can’t dribble.

“Not sure Joe's asthma would allow him to play more than 20 minutes under the style we are hoping for.”
Hahaha yes his “asthma.”

He needs to be a coach! He would make a great one. He checks all the boxes. Grit? Check Scrappiness? Check Brings his lunch pail? Check

Guy was one of the…least intelligent(in terms of shot selection and decision making) and least successful(in terms of winning games) players in SU history, and they’re calling for him to be a coach. Insane.

The idea of him being coaching material is crazy. But also…not surprising.

How come nobody ever said that DeShaun Williams - another often out of shape guard with questionable shot selection - would make a great coach?

Do you all think JJ will play point, or will Judah return? Can Cope play SF? Or a 3 guard lineup?

Do you all think JJ will play point, or will Judah return? Can Cope play SF? Or a 3 guard lineup? I think Starling is mainly the 2 if Judah returns. If Judah leaves - would really seem to depend on who we get as another transfer. If we get another wing/combo guard then perhaps Copeland plays point with JJ and other transfer off the ball - but still handling it quite a bit? I know Copeland needed some seasoning last year, but I like his potential. Big guard who sees the floor and is unselfish, and who looked better on both ends of the floor in the up tempo type games.

I’m high on Copeland too. I don’t want to lose him. He needs to play a lot more.
