No seperate forum on here for them, so posting it here in the hoops board.
Just beat #15 Florida State, to improve to 15-2. Fair had 31 points. Only losses were by 2 to a ranked Maryland team, and the one dud game - a blowout at UNC.
Second great win of the year, as they already beat ND.
Coach Jack appears to have this program humming already!
I’m a big Georgia Woolley believer.

Also, attending SU women’s games is such a hassle free experience. Sit wherever you want, for most games you don’t have to deal with all the stupid TV timeouts. No lines for food or bathroom. The only people there are people who really like hoops and really like the program. No casual dorks being weird and annoying like at men’s games.
It’s a good experience if you just want to watch a game and not be bothered with all the nonsense.
Hot take: People who don’t like women’s hoop because they don’t dunk, don’t actually like basketball that much.

It’s been a better product than men’s team outside of the season we tanked when the previous HC was fired.
1.5 years later and the women’s basketball team is relevant again.
It shows coaching matters.

Men’s college hoops I couldn’t name anyone who will be an all-American outside of Edey at Purdue and the Flipowski kid at Duke.

Men’s college hoops I couldn’t name anyone who will be an all-American outside of Edey at Purdue and the Flipowski kid at Duke. Agreed. She’s easily the most fun college b-ball player to watch play. Many will say they like college hoops better than the NBA, despite the inferior athleticism. Wonder how many like the women’s game better than the men’s college game, despite the inferior athleticism? I’m almost there. It’s mostly memories I’m clinging to at this point. The style of play in the men’s game is just not all that pleasing to watch. I hate AAU ball, and that’s kind what it is at a higher level. Also, I enjoy Reese’s game and especially her mad making skills too. She makes angry, mediocre middle aged men who don’t even watch the games just as mad as Terrell Owens, Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, etc. did when I was a kid, and I love it.
