Yeah not very encouraging. Oakland got it to like 4 or 5 with 4:00 left then Girard made some plays to get to the line and such. Not a big athleticism difference. Just the Zone befuddled them and Hughes/Buddy hit enough threes early on to keep a little cushion going constantly. Really boring game. No energy no life.

Looking at our schedule the rest of the way, I’m predicting 12/13 wins for the season. I’d be shocked if we get 15. We are epically bad.

No one wants to cheer for a team that is grossly beneath SU standards because you can’t recruit anymore. Better get used to it JB.

Seriously what an ass about whining in the presser about the fans! Who wants to pay money to see this product?! It was hilarious...in the presser he was bitching about the interior D and snarkingly suggested that the only way they can get better is if CD Bay and Marek add 40lbs each! Don’t recruit beanpoles, duh!!

I will say Girard had a nice game. Ran the ‘offense’ well and showed good vision. He wasn’t facing any sort of hounding D or an Alvarado/Villanova-type defender so that helped, but, he did a good job.

I didn't watch a lick of this game and not sure if I will watch any going forward the rest of the year, but that is too funny about JB saying that when like you note he can't put a good product on the floor people don't care.

I used to go out to the local sports bar for these when I can’t get them (cut the cord officially now) but now I’m comfortable to maybe finding a stream. Apathy is not good. That’s what is setting in for some of us diehards. Not sure why I bothered. I certainly won’t be duped as Georgia Tech and Oakland will be some of the worst teams in all of D1 as the season progresses. You didn’t miss much. On the stream the Dome looked like a game against Marathon Oil or some shitty NIT home game. It was empty. No way 16,000 announced were there. I’d say 8-9K at best.

I wonder how long attendance like that can go on before Wildhack decides enough is enough? We’re now talking about lost revenue. That’s a game changer, wouldn’t you think?

Sadly this is probably the only way to get through to JW. Plummeting ticket sales, loss of revenue, etc. He’s tone deaf to everything else.
