Can’t wait until 6pm! Picked up 2 more CB votes yesterday, so it’s sure looking good. It’s kind of odd being the favorite for a change. I agree with Sobe, that someone could decide to transfer out. But maybe not, if one of these guys can play the four, and Quincy can develop enough outside game to play the three?

I have no clue why, but I am still bullish on Jesse and his offensive game.
In an ideal world would love for him to RS. Sid graduates and one of Frank or JBA moves to the 4. Kind of puts a dagger into Mac Etinne (would think) but we were in dire straights for the upcoming season.

Over the past few months we have been detailing the roller coaster recruitment of athletic big man Frank Anselem.
He made a move from the class of 2021 to 2020 and was down to Alabama, Georgia and LSU with the Tigers as the heavy favorite. They moved on and Anselem came back with a new list of six at the beginning of May that included Arkansas, Kentucky, San Diego State, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Western Kentucky.
On Wednesday, Anselem will make his college choice, but there's a twist. He's got another revised list and he'll now be making his choice from a final four of Georgia, New Mexico, San Diego State and Syracuse.
Anselem is a high-major athlete all the way with plenty of room to add onto his frame without losing athleticism or flexibility. He's got to develop on the offensive end, but is ready to help on the glass and as a rim protector.
My FutureCast pick is in for Syracuse but, given the wild nature of Anselem's recruitment over the last month, nothing would surprise me when he announces tomorrow.

That’s his home state. Hope that doesn’t scare things up. I want this guy in Orange!!!

This is great! We needed the needle to move and gain some cred with or without Dior, IMO. I still think another guard is more pressing than a big. However, I love that Frank isn’t deterred by the bigs on the roster (nor should he be!) already potentially scaring him off. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes down with playing time and such. Transfers? Etienne in 2021 who has been a major target? Can’t imagine JBA and Jesse are thrilled about this lol. Hope Boeheim doesn’t fuck this all up!
For the record, I don’t think JBA can play the 4 at ALL. Had a conversation with one of my guys highly respected on the other board. We are both in agreement that he is too heavy, not enough lateral quickness/footspeed, etc., to play there in OUR system and in this day in age. If he was a strong brute with the desire to put some work in down low then he would be a nice 5 fit at many schools including Nova. I mean a heavier and taller Braswell is not what we need especially since he’s mostly a below the rim dude. I don’t give a damn if he can make some shots. Null and void. My guess is that he would be the odd man out. Just my $.02. Welcome Frank!
