Kadary now averaging 8.4 ppg, 3.9 reb., 3.2 apg with a defensive rating 10 points better than what he had last year. A few guys on Syracusefan couldn’t post fast enough when he struggled against Michigan. According to them he couldn’t play man to man defense, and left to “shoot one 3 per game, same as he did here”. They were so smug, but now they delete every post that mentions him playing a good game. What a trash place to talk hoops that place has become. Can only discuss what fits the chosen narrative. If it wasn’t for the 15-20 posters that make the OT board fun, I’d never go there. Their heads are so far up their own asses to see things clearly. Whether it’s the state of program, Kadary, etc. It took Kadary some time and he probably came in a little out of shape there. Willard’s M2M scheme is SO far fundamentally different than what we do lol. It was going to take some time. Furthermore, he’s got good guard teammates. A far cry from here. This team really misses a PG who can get downhill and put a stress on a defense. UConn is a good defensive team (they would crush us this year) and he was getting to the rim at will during that scoring run of his. The team is also ranked.

Good team. They would feast on us.

Yes, Kadary did seem to start the season out of shape, but seems to be hitting his stride. Our team would be infinitely better with him and Braswell.

Woulda preferred Guerrier to Braswell but understandable he wanted to play a role that highlights what he can do at the next level, granted does not fit what he does best.
Without a doubt Kadary on this team starting instead of Joe, with Joe coming off the bench we very well have wins vs VCU, G tow, UVA, Wake, plus Miami.

Disastrous season continues. I've been to the last 5 home games. So horrible watching this epic disaster. He chased away Kadary and Quincy, thus wilfully derailing the season! He had the players actually on the squad to make us competitive! We're watching a team that he broke apart like Richard Gere in Pretty Woman breaking up companies lol, except at least Gere profited from it. I wanted to think of the corniest analogy possible sorry.

Yup! Imagine a starting five of Kadary/Joe Buddy Bras Quincy Jesse We’d be a hell of a lot more competitive than the shit show we’re watching right now.

Agreed. I would have been so pumped for this season if we had quincy and kadary. I knew as soon as they announced their departure that we were done. This guy is killing the program.

I wonder what Kadary's minutes look like if he came back. I'd bet about the same as last year.

He'd play 25 a night I think which is what he does now. Would think on par or even more than averaging now. Dont blame him for leaving but where he went to from a minutes perspective doesnt make tons of sense.

He may not be playing starters minutes but he’s playing for a better team, and one that will likely make the tournament. That’s a big win for him over playing second fiddle to Joe.

Agreed, dont blame him for leaving. But A) Seton Hall is not locked into the tourney. B) Yes maybe he would not of started but from a minutes perspective I am not sure how much "second fiddle" it would be.
All I am saying is from a pure minutes standpoint, he went to a school that has 5 guards.

All I am saying is from a pure minutes standpoint, he went to a school that has 5 guards. Barring a collapse they are absolutely locked in. 43 in NET. 41 in Ken Pom. On the 7-seed line as per Bracket Matrix. Kids aren’t stupid. I think in Kadary‘s eyes and/or his camp, he could live with playing alongside Aiken and co. Part of a timeshare with those guards. I have zero doubt he destroyed Joe and Buddy in practice at SU. The way Boeheim handles the roster is a big deterrent, IMO. Lots of teams run out 3-4 LEGIT guards. Auburn is just one example. Leonard Hamilton at FSU runs a lot of dudes out there. Calipari too. The difference is the competition level.

Kadary is shooting 37% from three this year?
We could have used him for spacing!!!
