That’s such a great clip. I revisit that occasionally. We used to get up and down the court like that, sigh. Seeing those early clips in there against Duke in the 1989 ACC-Big East Challenge and then destroying IU/Knight at MSG is a thing of beauty!

Remember when we had great PG's like that, especially Sherm, he was one of the best.

I would take another MCW in a second, but any traditional point guard that can run an offense and get us and down the court fast would be great
heck, i'd take another scoop.
great clip, i think everyone misses those days. even the teams from a decade ago. that 2011 team probably had 10 players that could have started on this year's team and that wasn't exaclty a different era

It’s been a HUGE problem. As big as the C woes and a major factor why our ceiling has been middle of the pack ACC. Hundreds of D1 teams have these guys. We haven’t gotten it right in about 7 years. Kadary wasn’t a blazer but at least he had a good handle and could get downhill some on some better teams.

Kadary was the first I've been excited about in a long time. i thought frank howard had some potential as he looked to have decent vision early on, but even he seemed more geared toward being a MCW type but with a slightly slower starting point. we need a true pg, at least as a change of pace guy if we ever go back to that route. i have no idea what we're doing now, but it's seemingly the worst of all worlds

He couldn’t turn the corner often and picked up his dribble way too much far from the hoop. He was also a mess off the court. Mentally kind of unstable, bullied/picked fights with a couple of high profile recruits that cost us, etc. His shooting improved some but that’s about it. Always had decent vision but it was another one of those failed conversion attempts to PG. Foolishly, we were the only team who offered him as a PG. All his other offers were for SG.
