For those that do their own taxes, what service are you using?
turbotax has become a rip off IMO. Are there any services that are free or cheaper, that are reliable and legit?
Talk to me!

Looking for one as well. TT for me is 39 dollars but I’d like a cheaper option if available

I always used TurboTax - and would occasionally switch if I thought fees were too high as they would offer a deal if you left the next year. I always slightly preferred TT though because I felt like they imported stocks easier - but even that is shit now, and they're always like, "it's $8,000 to auto-import" that shit. I need to switch.

Damnit, I forgot all about stocks. First year where I actually made some money off them, and I gotta get taxed on them? SMH. I’ll probably at least put my info in on turbo tax soon and see if I have a refund coming. If not, I’ll be waiting until April to submit them anyway. If they’re taking my money, they’re going to at least wait until the last second for it.

There must be a bunch of free ones that do the job. I'm going to REDDIT!!!!! Those people are thrifty!

According to turbo tax I’ll be getting at least 1600 back. Once I get my 2nd W2 I’ll know the exact amount but I’m expecting around 2100 or so
