Honestly, I think it's more JT doesnt really complain or mope. He just sucks and looks sad after. Like I don't think anyone bags on Hima for sucking, he just comes in, is terrible, and goes back to the bench.

Though I think the Copeland “flashy play! Turnovers!” stuff is overdone. He averages 3.5 turnovers per 40 minutes. Joe averaged 3.3 per 40 his junior year here.

Personally, turnovers when you’re trying to make a play for others bother me a lot less than, say, getting ripped with the game on the line because you won’t dribble with your left hand when you’re going left. Or, jumping sideways when you shoot and falling down which isn’t technically a turnover, but….cmon.

I'm good with Judah and Bell having their play criticized. What I don't understand is how quickly for some it goes to them having a personality defect. Like, that's weird. Right? And it's not universally applied. By the same logic we should look at how badly Taylor shoots and say "guess he lied to Red about working hard in the off-season and earning his minutes. He obviously didn't work on his game at all, and now he sure seems content to just soak up being a starter because there's nobody left."

I’m sure Bell and Judah work as hard as anyone on their games. On the court though, they’ve both had their moments of acting like complete jackasses for all to see. Im not sure what I hate more….the Judah jump sideways and fall down shot, followed up by trotting back on defense bitching at the refs. Or the Judah pretend to go for a steal out near midcourt that he’s never going to get, followed by trotting back into the play. But they’re both infuriating.

Oh they're definitely infuriating plays, I'm just saying, I don't think they mean he's a bad person. It's the jump to commentary on character people make about our players that rubs me the wrong way.

I'd use JJ being called a CLOWN for missing shots over any of the above. But you do have a point.

It’s funny how no one was willing to answer it directly.

It’s funny how no one was willing to answer it directly. The most direct answer anyone has given basically boils down to we've seen the other guys get frustrated and react and we haven't from Taylor. I dunno, seems flimsy. I've also been accused of using a racism lends. I swear I'm not. I legitimately think it's plain old cognitive dissonance. Our fans don't like the way a lot of how our players play. They can't square that. They can understand "Judah hunts for fouls because he just wants his and doesn't care about winning" more easily because that attacks Judah's identity, not their own as a Syracuse fan.

Of course, locked. Even though I don't 100% agree with the premise, I think it's an interesting point that can be discussed reasonably....You can call Judah basically a selfish cunt and then posts suggesting Kadary was better than Joe were deleted en masse the past couple of years. Doesn't really add up.
...but then again the post that CTO liked....I mean, you're telling on yourself liking that post. They told you the answer.

Poor Cooney, Buddy, Jimmy Jr., Forth and Girard they dealt with such crazy criticism. I can’t believe I respected that woman. That board has no use for opinions that can challenge what she believes. It’s people like her and Bees why I hammer JB as much as I do. JB thinks the fanbase didn’t return the loyalty to him.

For the record, at no point did I bring up race or any other players from the past. I talked about 4 guys on the current team. Bit ironic that I was questioning why some guys get accused of character flaws, and many of the responses accused me of having the character flaw of making things about race.

I’d still like to know why DaJuan Coleman’s and Marek Dolezaj’s(to name 2 recent ones) weight was an acceptable topic, but Girard’s wasn’t.

It’s not like the point was even wrong. I get if people were really being aholes to stop it but it was done in jest and factually correct. Girard was in terrible shape at Syracuse and we were playing him marathon minutes. The reason it was censored was because a family member probably DM’d Rick and so the mandate became stop fans from saying a factual criticism. They don’t care though if JB calls Kadary out of shape though.
