The last decade of regular season has been pathetic.
This fanbase actually cares and it’s sad we have become the Nebraska of college football in college hoops.
The parallels between Syracuse basketball and Nebraska football are similar except we let the legend of our program burn down his foundation because he wanted to coach his kids.
But counter point Buddy was first team all ACC in 2022 so point Bees.

JB should have left after 2016. Hokpins should have been coach as he was promised. That's it.
Maybe Hop does better (maybe worse), but I have to believe we would be in a better position today regardless. Either with Hop or onto the next regime w/o JB's guys

I don’t think Hop would have won more games, but recruiting would have been even better than when he was the lead assistant. That said, I also think he would have been fired by now.

Yeah, it's fun to speculate, but likely fired. What recruits did we lose to him? Early on there was a couple big ones, no? I think coming in 2016 the expectations would have been high - much higher, and you get a trajectory like he had after leaving....he would have been gone.

I imagine upon stepping on the Dome floor before the game, Joe will go on a wild charge after Autry today over the pizza that he cost him, in the same vein that Isaiah Stewart charged after LeBron James. Should be fun, get there early!

I think he’ll stick for awhile, unless he punches himself out of the league.
