I loved Josh Pace but can we stop fucking comparing him to Josh Pace. What part of each others game resembles the other? They don't.......

Not all bench players are the same. Some shoot 70 percent from the field, Have a PER of 20 plus and have a DBPM of 4. Some are Peter Carey.
Love Jake but he needs to stop trying to die on this hill.

I can see a similarity as far as their impact or role on a good team to an extent - both are role players on a great team, both do a good job of playing to their strengths and playing smart, and both can stuff a stat sheet. But in terms of their actual skills, they’re not similar at all. Pace was a solid secondary ball handler who could create his own offense. Brown is not a creator whatsoever. He’s a finisher.

Too many posters over there aren’t angry enough we suck. The like Patriot league level play and think it’s ok. Yeah, people seem to think it's fine but we have the feel of a team that's trying to tread water - and then maybe hit payday once every 8 years. Those schools don't usually ever hit payday.

If team performance was more or less directly proportional to how much NIL they are paying out…. I think I’d be in favor of spending majorly and going for a big year, followed by saving money for a couple years and sucking it up with the results. For example, give me a 33-5 and a final four season followed by 12-20 and 15-17 records rather than going 20-13 for 3 years straight and missing the dance every year.

That’s brilliant, especially for a private, medium-sized institution. It’s the Marlins approach and it makes perfect sense. Sign me up.
