As of today we've offered:
Taelon Martin PG #159
Addison Patterson #24 and Andre Jackson #40 at SG
Scottie Barnes #3 at SF
Isaiah Jackson #17, Isaiah Cottrell #59, Noah Collier #80 and Jamari Sibley #105 at PF
Hunter Dickinson #19, Cliff Omoruyi #62, and Elijah Hutchins-Everett # 75 at C
Symir Torrence #51 at CG was local yet committed to Marquette
I honestly would not be surprised if we swing and miss on ALL of these guys listed. We really need to score an elite big and an elite point guard. I just don't see it happening. If this was the other board I'd offer to never post again if we land a point guard (not combo guard) and a center ranked inside the top 100 list. That's how little I think of our chances.
What odds do you all actually think we have on these guys? Maybe we can lure Taleon Martin. He's outside the top 100 though, but probably a more realistic target.

Scottie Barnes ain't coming here and don't think Dickerson is either.
Like our chances with Andrew Jackson. Still have to see how things shake out with Collier but he is a huge priority right now.
Dean is supposed to a do a recruiting update on his next pod just not sure when that is.

Good OP. Iβm tired and cranky but these days I just have no faith in the staff to land a top βtrueβ PG and C. I doubt we get Hunter D. I could see him at UK/Purdue/MD/ND. PGs I just think we choose to rather go after these risky taller combos and/or SGs-PGs conversions. Last time we went after a true PG HARD was when Frank was being desperately recruited over with the Quade Green scenario. I will bet my life savings that the ultimate plan was NOT to have Frank logging so many minutes over the past couple of years as the primary PG.
LOVE that Xavier Johnson on Pitt...damn. I also think recruits watching guys like Frank/Kaleb as well as Chukwu/Sidibe/Keita/Chino canβt be too impressed with the play of those guys. Plus, who knows how many top PGs/Cs want to play all-Zone.

JBA might be good, and if he is we're really really lucky his stock fell so much because of his injury. But we need another good big badly. Point guard is also a top priority. No one knows yet if Goodine, Carey or JG3 can effectively play point. I'm not saying I wouldn't be happy if we landed Andrew Jackson, but he's nowhere near as important as the other positions.
