Doesn’t surprise me. Carey’s a hot mess.

Gotta make a change. He has moxie and more IQ. The morgue comes alive when he is in. Carey has done nothing to keep the gig. Like Frank it is almost comical how he just won’t go downhill. Obviously he isn’t as quick as many led us to believe but maybe he can be a bench instant offense guy in the future. Just make plays without any structure. Prob best suited for him and this coaching staff.

I agree with the decision. I don’t agree with announcing it tonight and embarrassing Carey. I think that kid is as good as gone.

It’s too bad but he’s had a longer leash than many of us choose to remember. As much as I criticize JB, he was right IMO on how he handled Carey even last year. You couldn’t play him. He was a turnover machine and a pretty much instant fast break the other way. He’s too insecure with the ball on offense. JB plays it safe and is happy to win playing ugly low possession ball these days. Can’t play Carey.
Some guys just are more athletes than ballers. He’s also not as fast and talented as we think or else he would be making plays rogue style a la MeShaun Williams. Still, it’s on the staff yet again as a colossal recruiting fail at a position where you can’t continue to make these blunders.

Wowzer, itz too bad JC wasn't able to handle the reigns. Mabye Joey G can take command and give us some solid point guard play going forward. Like to see how the other youngin Goodine can do at the point too.

The Girard fast break alleyoop play was impressive. We haven’t seen a Cuse PG do that in YEARS. To realize the trailer was lurking and deliver that pass kinda in traffic was dope!

The kid has a high give a shit meter. You can not teach that, however he can not just play on that. I think being a football qb gives him an edge going into this position. He has to be more selective with his shots but if no one is up on him it is almost automatic. The one thing I hate is going to the the comparisons to Gerry. That is not fair to the kid, Gmac might have been the best shooter the school has ever had and did more than any other player who is not crazy athletic (in comparison to most guys from high D1 schools). Gmac did have a high give a shit meter.

Joe just oozes confidence. I can’t see him getting down on himself. Even when he misses he expects the next one to go in. If he can man his position defensively, he’ll be a great player for us.

Yet here we go with Kadary... kadary is a pg 6.3.6 It’s weird, I’ve seen him listed as a point guard, a shooting guard, a combo guard, and even one site listed him as a small forward.
