It’s weird, I’ve seen him listed as a point guard, a shooting guard, a combo guard, and even one site listed him as a small forward. definitely looks like he's playing on ball with T Clarke off it 6.3.6

Joe will be a four year starter a la Gmac. All we need is some experience and some beef. Joe looks like he’s going to be a great floor general. Love love love his swagger too.

Impressed as well. Probably with his ballhandling the most. No problem. If guys like Aaron Craft and TJ McConnell (though both especially Craft were tough M2M defenders) can be really successful then so can Girard. He has more offense than them but that similar toughness and moxie. Maybe the QB/football factor really translates well like how it did with Craft.

Joe may not have played against the highest competition in high school but because he was double and triple teamed, his handle is really tight. He’ll likely have some questionable shot selection from time to time, but I think it’s a trade off you take. He’s going to make a lot of threes, and he’s used to having a hand or two or three in his face. He’s going to be a fun player to watch develop.
