7ft 220lbs. Slender but a absolute elite shot blocker. Would be tremendous in our zone. If we played man to man I would want a stronger body but this guy is a elite rim protector who can also stretch the floor.

"Koval is a 7’0”, 210-pound center who averaged 12.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks over 31 games last season. That wasn’t a major departure from the norm, either, as his career figures sit at 11.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game over 98 contests with the Bears. And while all that came during his time with a Southland program, it’s not as if Koval hasn’t faced elite competition."
"The Prosper, Texas, native has played in 16 games against programs in the seven high-major conferences, and in those 16 outings he averaged 8.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 blocks. That includes a 21-point, three-block showing against Georgetown in 2019; a 21-point, eight-rebound game against Oklahoma State in 2018; and 15-point and 16-point games against UCLA in 2017 and Indiana in 2018."
"Koval even scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds against Pitt itself in 2018 and came up with 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in three games against ACC opponents"

Per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Koval noted that Gonzaga and UNC Greensboro have expressed interest in his services, among other Division I programs. Koval isn't believed to be a graduate transfer, so he would have to sit out the 2020-21 season at his next school unless he's granted a waiver by the NCAA. The seven-foot center was among the nation's most prolific shot blockers in 2019-20, averaging 3.1 per game to go with 12.2 points, 7.6 boards, 1.5 assists and 1.0 three-pointer

Not as beefy, but seems to be a very good shot blocker. Wonder what he’s looking for?

Not as beefy, but seems to be a very good shot blocker. Wonder what he’s looking for? Not sure but worth taking a look with his shot blocking abilities. Yea, I'd love a BIG man but it's kinda hard to not see the upside of having a player that's such an elite shot blocker for the style of defense we play. Fits absolutely perfect as a rim protector. Doesnt solve any of our toughness issues etc but hes worth a look in my opinion.

He can also stretch the floor because hes a capable shooter for a 5. Which is nice to have.
