I wrote that our centers were bad. I wrote that we needed two good centers in the 2019 class. I wrote that we have not been recruiting to SU standards. I wrote that we should have a big man coach that is not a guard.
I got banned for it.
Well guess what???
I was right about all of it! Suck on that one!
Sincerely,
Jazz

You get banned for being honest. Same here. Nothing but excuses over there.

About Sidibe:
You said: We couldn't get an elite big to commit to SU because Sidibe would impede playing time, and stood in the way. Some even said he had NBA potential.
I said: Sidibe had proven nothing and should not prevent us from recruiting an elite big.
Conclusion: Jazz was right!
You said: Sidibe would be perfectly healthy for 2019, and that the surgery was routine.
I said: Tendonitis is a recurring issue. I didn't expect him to be healthy in 2019 because surgery doesn't address the root cause of his injury.
Conclusion: He either sucks OR he's still not healthy. Either way Jazz was right!!!
Advice: Get a real big man, and an actual point guard that's not a converted two guard.

Iβm still banned. All I did was foreshadow the current state of those dudes and what the current posts are on that board with regards to Frank and the interior scoring. Nothing vulgar just the truth as I saw it and Iβm sure you guys too. Now the other intelligent cats there are posting the same kind of stuff and Bees has his tail between his legs because the masses are right!

I'll be banned for life, which is fine, because I will NEVER change in the respect that I won't conform with the consensus and write that recruiting and play over the past few years has been up to par. When the team plays well, I praise. When we suck, I'll write it.
Sobe, you might eventually get back on board over there but I doubt it'll happen this year. There's TONS of complaining going on right now on that board that I don't see them taking either of us back. Quite frankly, I don't want to go back. I still read the posts, but it's a waste of my time and energy to post my opinion on a board that doesn't want to wake up and read the writing on the wall... JB's best years are behind him.
That doesn't mean he isn't a great coach. That doesn't mean he deserves the penalties imposed by the NCAA. It doesn't mean it's fair. And it definitely doesn't mean it's not hard AND sad to write it... JB needs to retire, or be let go.

I was laughed at preseason as well suggesting that UNC was going to be good and better than us. Coby White my goodness. Guys like Kenny Williams and Cam Johnson are great players. Roy is a fantastic coach. Those kids play hard for him as well.

If I had to guess, Kcsu will probably be banned next... he's been pretty bold with his statements lately. The powers that be don't take too kindly to outspoken folks, they prefer parrots with blinders.

I got banned from the game thread the other night when i suggested the mods should settle down as they were spending way too much time deleting other people's posts. That's the problem when the game isn't at the dome. Bees and the rest are spending more time monitoring the game thread instead of watching the game.
Bees clarified that today and I thanked him for his clarification and asked him to delete my account. Now I'll just annoy you hosers with my Pascal bashing.

Jazz said last season was fools gold and that we overachieved. I said we were not winning shit this year with our centers. I said Frank was not a very good point guard. I said we'd be lucky to make the Sweet Sixteen again. And guess what, we didn't.
You said: we were a National Championship contender. You said we were fine at center. You said Frank and Jalen were going to be great.
Guess what: once again Jazz was right!
Final thoughts: Retire JB, Hire Oats, infuse new blood into the program

Lol. Nice. Hard to say about Quincy G. I like that he has some muscle and isnβt a beanpole. Heβs not Wiggins tho. More like a CJ Fair type, IMO. Fine but we need production right away especially if Oshae officially bolts.
I have no idea about PG and the offense. Edwards seems like a little band aid to cover up the C recruiting woes. He wonβt be ready for awhile. Honestly, this could be a losing season but fortunately other teams in the conference are losing a lot.

I wrote that we should have a big man coach that is not a guard. I got banned for it. Well guess what??? I was right about all of it! Suck on that one! Sincerely, Jazz first off, that board was dumb to ban you. you're a great fan of the boys and provide an insightful perspective, and the only sin you're guilty of is wanting success. also, i wouldn't say that any of the points you're making here or wrong - or points you've made w/in other posts about JB slipping - are wrong either. we do have question marks at center, we do have question marks at PG, and it's clear that our recruiting has taken a hit since hop left the program. but i would encourage you to have a little bit of faith in JB and the staff. he's been doing this for a long time, and might be the most knowledgeable coach in the history of the college game. there's a reason he and K are as close as they are. these calls of forcing out boeheim are short-sighted. the college coaching fraternity is extremely close. there is nothing more boeheim could have done for our program and our university. these are certainly not the glory days, but you're kidding yourself if you think any of JB's eventual replacement candidates aren't going to follow this situation very closely. i just feel a bit of a "sky is falling" mentality, and while i think the reasoning behind it is sound, i just think we owe it to coach and to ourselves to give the staff the benefit of the doubt to develop a strong corps as buddy and jim finish out their SU careers. there are so many question marks for next year. it could be rough, but how many times in the past few seasons have we come into preseason with sky-high expectations only to see them crash and burn? here's my point: there's no cost in being optimistic and putting some faith in JB and the staff to put out a competitive team. they will get a lot of experience and familiarity as a squad even if it is brutal, and there is a plan in place beyond it. What do we have to lose in having a bit of faith?

Good points Walsh. My rebuttal would be simply that we just donβt know re: next coach at Syracuse. All we know is All-Zone and a deliberate pace. Letβs say a PROVEN new coach (no GD GMac or Autry) comes into SU with the budget, facilities, and such. Totally new and fresh style more in tune with the current game. Pretty confident that it canβt be worse than we are now. Like it or not we are being hurt perception-wise by All-Zone and running a ball stopping/ISO offense without lottery picks. Itβs upsetting watching these Tourney teams have WAY more cohesive talent, structure, physical players, etc., than SU. Itβs so obvious watching these other teams. We shouldnβt be afraid of change. Praying that the damn Zone befuddles teams enough and the offense just does enough to squeak by is not good at all.
